Week 6: Prayer
"The same Lord is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on Him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:12-13
Sunday: The Sunday of the Advent shows us that everything begins and ends with God. On this Sunday, we look forward to the second coming of Jesus Christ. "I am the alpha and omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." (Revelation 22:13)
Monday: Read about prayer in Matthew 6:5-15. Think about what prayer means to you. We should praise God, pray for His work in the world, pray for our daily needs, and pray for helping our daily struggles.
Tuesday: Say a special prayer for our struggling brothers and sisters in Armenia and elsewhere in the world.
Wednesday: Reflect on Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness. What would you do if you were alone for 40 days in the wilderness?
Thursday: Thank God for new life. Celebrate the feeling of spring and rejuvenation. Spend time outdoors enjoying nature's beauty.
Friday: Examine your goals. Do they reflect your faith?
Saturday: Remembrance of the Rising of Lazarus. Read John 11:38.
