HYE CAMP: THINGS TO BRING
Bedding: Sheets, pillowcase, blanket or sleeping bag and pillow
Towels: For bathing and swimming
Toiletries: Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.
*Clothing: Jeans, shorts, tee shirts, one-piece swimsuit, sweater or jacket, rainwear, sandals, sneakers, shower thongs, laundry bag
Miscellaneous: Bible, sunscreen, bug repellent, flashlight,
Optional: Camera, film, nightlight, backgammon board, musical instruments,old blanket (for campfires).
*All campers are expected to dress appropriately at all times. Female swimmers must wear a one-piece swimsuit. Any form of clothing that is considered disruptive or inappropriate will not be tolerated. Jeans, sweat pants and shorts with words across the buttocks are not allowed. Clothing or emblems that promote or advertise the use of drugs, tobacco, satanic rituals, cults, alcoholic beverages, sex, or violence may not be worn at Hye Camp.
THINGS TO LEAVE AT HOME - cell phones, valuables and money.
MEDICATION: Please bring all required medicine in original containers, including prescription and over-the-counter medications. Please have this medication available at registration as it must be turned in to the Doctor.
NOTE: There are no laundry facilities available at Camp Hickory. Please pack accordingly.
PLEASE LABEL ALL PERSONAL ITEMS. Hye Camp is not responsible for any lost articles including valuables, equipment, cameras, etc. Please advise your child of his/her responsibility concerning personal items. All items left in the Lost and Found at the end of Hye Camp will be donated to a charitable organization.
