Lenten Prayer Wheel
Lent is traditionally a time to focus on prayer. The forty-day period is ideal to remove distractions, reorder priorities, and practice the art of talking with God. An easy way to encourage this in younger children is with the use of a prayer wheel.

Finger Food Prayers
Here's a cute way to extend a Sunday School lesson into the home, via take-home baggies of special snacks with a special message enclosed:
• O-shaped Cereal – O God, you show your love for us in so many ways. Your love circles us. Your love never ends. Your love nourishes us each day. Amen.
• Fish Crackers – Jesus, you tell us to be fishers of people. Help everyone in our family spread your good news to others. Amen.
• Animal Cookies – God, you made so many wild and wondrous animals. Help us care for everything in your creation. Amen.
