The college ministry website is coming soon!

Now Armenian students from U Maine to U Texas can connect with their faith and heritage online.

The Diocese's new college ministry website will offer the Armenian Christian faith in all its significance for college students and allows for interactive discussion and questions.  It will connect college-aged Armenians through an events calendar, a place where underclassmen can contact upperclassmen and a job/volunteer board.

The site is also a useful tool for parishes and parents.  You can register your college bound youth to keep them connected to the life of the church and find out what you can do to reach out to college students in your area

To log on, go to the Diocesan website under “families” or enter directly through www.College301.org or www.ArmenianStudents.org,

Zohrab Resource Center Is Ready to Serve All Armenian Educators

The Krikor and Clara Zohrab Resource Center is happy to be a part of the new Armenian Church Educator, and welcomes all teachers, students, and others interested in Armenian studies to take advantage of its resources.  The Zohrab Center, an integral part of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern), is a resource and research facility which holds over fifteen thousand volumes of books in its library.  Rare books, periodicals from the nineteenth and twentieth century as well as current ones, and microform archival materials are accessible to the public.  It has electronic files on various topics, holdings of maps, music, photographs, videos, and other Armenian-related materials.  Its staff,  trained historians, can provide guidance to those doing research on a wide variety of topics.  You are encouraged to email (zicres@armeniandiocese.org), telephone (212-686-0710), write (630 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10016), or visit the Center for information  and material related to Armenia, its history, current events, and people.  The Zohrab Center also welcomes donations of books, periodicals, and other resource materials pertaining to Armenian topics.
