St. Vartan Cathedral is the symbol of Armenians in the New World. The Cathedral also symbolizes what Armenian-Americans can accomplish when we turn our resolve and energy to a noble goal. As servicemen returned from World War II, our forebears turned their energies to the project of building a house of worship that would symbolize the fullness of our life as a people.
