Our group had a lot of fun today. The sports were VERY fun: we played wiffleball, tennis, and nukem. During our free time we went to the recreation room to play ping-pong, tavloo, and War. Swimming was awesome, even though the water was a little cold. All of the classes were fun, especially Heritage, because Maestro was there. The evening program, “Singled Out,” was funny, exciting and cool. We thought it was funny when Drew and Jake won the game. We also thought it was cool how Brianna won a dance with our C.I.T., Matt. Hopefully all of our days at camp will be this much fun.

We’ve met a lot of new campers, and we’re excited to make new memories here at our new camp! We all took and passed our swim test; there are a lot of chairs by the pool, so we can talk and hang out. The food is really good here, too. In our classes, we sang all the camp songs, and we really felt like a family. At night we talked about “stewardship” and how we all can contribute to our team. We made commitments that we’ll try to fulfill, like being more forgiving, more patient, and being better Christians.
There’s much more to look forward to over the next two weeks. We are SO excited!
