Columbia University Student Summit, Feb. 3-4

The Columbia University Armenian Club and Advocates For Armenia, with the generous support of the Armenian Center at Columbia University and AGBU, presents an Armenian Students' summit: "Armenia's Development: The Students' Role" at Columbia University on February 3rd and 4th, 2007.

During this two-day summit, students will be informed about the current state of development and challenges in the IT, tourism and health-care sectors of Armenia. They will also learn how Diasporan organizations operating in Armenia may serve as vehicles for furthering the involvement of interested students. Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to combine the information that they received with their own innovative ideas to formulate specific, small-scale projects that will contribute to the building of the Armenian nation.

There will be limited amount of travel compensation (based on need) for those that will travel over 50 miles to come to New York City. Please inquire for the "travel compensation" upon registration. There will be FREE HOUSING for all participants that will travel over 50 miles to come to NYC.
