Recommended Lecturers
We are blessed with a wealth of individuals who have years of experience and study in Armenian history, culture, and Christianity. Many of them make themselves available to our Parishes and community organizations. Arranging an event where one or more of these individuals come to speak and share is a great opportunity for our people, and especially our youth, to both learn more about their heritage, and simultaneously, to teach others about the dedication and accomplishments of their forefathers.
The Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center offers a current list, roughly divided by topic, to help you select speakers and organize seminars, conferences, discussions, presentations and similar functions. Each speaker has presented one or more sample lecture title, but can speak on a much wider variety of topics.
You are welcome to contact directly the speaker(s) you find interesting--and geographically close, if travel costs are an issue--and make all necessary arrangements with them.
Please bear in mind the minimum amenity is to provide the lecturer with a reimbursement for transportation expenses and an honorarium. The amount of the honorarium can be negotiated with the invited speaker. If you need further assistance, please e-mail zicoff@armeniandiocese.org.
