This group will discuss asking God's intervention to help them and others in times of need.
- Bible Verse: "Therefore he is able to save completely or forever those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrews 7:25
- Other Verses: I Cor. 1:18-31; Ephesians 1:15-23; James 3:13-18; Luke 2:41-52; Mark 10:17-30.
- What types of things should we be asking of the Lord?

- Can we only ask God to intercede in our prayers? If not, who else?
- Discuss examples of petitionary prayer found in the Badarak.
- Group Exercise: With the group, create a list of problems in the world today, such as impending war, terrorism, poverty, loneliness, etc. Then, after mentioning each world problem, ask group members to call out a prayer of intercession relating to the issue.
